I purchased these in size M, which the charts show is the appropriate size for my size 9.5 foot.  When I received them, the package reads - in very small print - "for sizing regular boots add ONE shoe size, insulated boots add TWO shoe sizes" Too small!

Asked by: IceQueen
“We apologize for the confusion. We do recommend adding two shoe sizes for insulated boots. Please reach out to our help mailbox at help@4implus.com for further information on our warranty policy and exchanges.”

I wear a Womens Size 10 in the Ahnu Sugarpine Boot. Adding 1 size up would be 11. Is your sizing based on my actual shoe size 10 OR the added shoe size 11? If 10, then I get Medium but if 11, I get the Large.

Asked by: Jaime
“The size will be determined by the type of shoe that you are wearing. We recommend adding 1 size for hiking or work boots and 2 sizes for oversized boots.”

How do you clean and maintain these? Should I wash, dry and then oil them after use? What kind of oil?

Asked by: romi
"We would not recommend washing them or applying oil. We advise wiping the items down with a damp cloth after each use, and then drying with a towel to avoid corrosion of material."

I am wearing a women's size 9 Muck Wetland boot. What size should I order?

Asked by: Cheryl
For any standard boot or shoe, you should be a medium. However, for any thicker insulated winter boot we recommend that you go up to a size Large.

I would like to wear these over ski boots with a 348 mm sole length (size 14, insulated). Would you recommend XL or XXL?  Thanks!

Asked by: Todd1234
I ended up buying XXL and they fit my size 14 ski boots perfectly .

I have size 15 wide. Will XXL be big enough for my boots?

Asked by: big feet
It depends on the boot, but in most cases it should be big enough.

I got size M for my size 8 women's sheepskin Uggs. after a while (a couple of hours, maybe), my feet felt like they were getting bent... (best description...) should I have gotten a L or are they not designed to be worn for an extended period of time?

Asked by: kcdkcd
They need to be a tight fit, so it's not a matter of sizing. This is mostly likely because Uggs have a much softer frame and aren't as rigged as other types of boots, which means over time you're more likely to feel the pressure from the tight fit of the Yaktrax.
